These terms apply to this website and to the Keepers service. We have written them to be read. If anything here is unclear, email hello@keepers.site and we will explain it in plain words.
Keepers is a trading name of Keepers, a proprietor firm registered in Gujarat, India, at 309 Atlantis One, Sola, Ahmedabad 380060. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Keepers” mean that firm.
1. What these terms cover
This page covers two different things, and the difference matters.
Using this website. Sections 2 and 3 apply to anyone who visits keepers.site.
Buying the service. Sections 4 to 11 are a plain English summary of how the Keepers service works. They are a summary only. Every customer signs a Website Service Agreement, and that signed agreement is what governs the relationship. If anything on this page is ever inconsistent with your signed agreement, your signed agreement wins.
2. Using this website
You may read this site, share it, and quote it with credit. You may not copy its design, text or code to build a competing service, scrape it at scale, try to break into it, or use it for anything unlawful.
The words, design, layout, logo and code on this website belong to us, except where they belong to someone else and are used with permission.
3. What this website is not
Nothing on this website is a binding offer until we have accepted your order in writing. We keep prices and plan details accurate and correct mistakes when we find them. We do not promise that this site will always be available or error free.
4. What you get
Keepers builds your website and then looks after it for a monthly fee. Every plan includes hosting, daily backups with 15 day history, software updates, security, a free contact page, and the content changes you ask us for.

About pages. We count designs, not pages. Extra pages that reuse a design you already have are unlimited and free, as long as you send us the finished words and images laid out to match that design. If a page needs a brand new design and your plan’s designs are all used, it is $85 a year, or you can upgrade.
Launch times are promises, not estimates. The clock pauses while we are waiting on something from you.
Changes to your site go through our support process, one request at a time. We may decline requests that amount to a redesign or that go well beyond normal use.
Changes have to come through us. If you or another supplier changes the site, its code, plugins or server settings without our written approval, repairs may be charged as additional work, and we may need to roll back to our last managed version first.
If you go over your visitor allowance we charge nothing and switch nothing off. We tell you after the month ends and offer an add on. We would only require one after three months in a row over the limit, with 30 days notice.
5. What is not included
- Your domain name. It is always registered in your name and it stays yours. Registration and renewal fees are not included, and we never ask for your domain login
- Copywriting. We assemble content, we do not write it. Copywriting is a paid add on
- Any uptime guarantee. We work to keep your site up and we will not promise a number we cannot control. Hosting, internet routing, DNS and third party services are outside our hands
- Third party software. We use plugins and services where they help. We are not responsible for their bugs, price changes or shutdowns
6. Paying for it
The build fee is one time, due before the build starts, and non refundable in all circumstances.
Monthly fees are billed in advance. All prices are in US dollars.
There are two ways to pay, and you choose.
- Pay for your first year up front. There is no minimum term. Your payment settles that year, and you can stop at the end of it. You also get 13 months for the price of 12
- Pay monthly. We ask you to stay for 12 months. If you leave early for any reason other than our own uncured breach, the remaining monthly fees for the year become due immediately
After the first 12 months, both options roll on month to month at the same price. Nothing auto renews annually and there is nothing for you to do.
If a payment fails we will chase it, write to you with a date, and suspend the site if it is more than 10 days overdue. Late amounts carry interest at 1.5% a month. We do not delete a site for non payment.
Upgrading is available at any time. You pay the pro rated monthly difference plus the difference in build fee, and if you pay monthly a fresh 12 month term starts from the upgrade date. Downgrading reduces your site to the smaller plan’s designs, so pages built on designs you do not keep will come down. We send you a complete copy of everything first, and it takes effect at the end of your term.
7. Stopping
After your first 12 months there is no notice period. Tell us before your next billing cycle starts, ideally in the first 10 days of the month you have already paid for. Service runs to the end of that paid period and we do not charge you again.
When you stop, your site stays live for 30 days and you get a full copy of everything on it. Your domain was always yours, so it stays with you. We hand over your website files, database and media within 48 to 72 business hours of your account being settled. Backups are kept for 30 days after your subscription ends and are then permanently deleted.
Fees already paid are not refunded, unless you lawfully end the agreement because we breached it and did not fix it.
We may suspend or end service immediately if an account is unpaid, used unlawfully, used to host illegal or harmful content, or used to attack our systems.
8. Your side of it
You confirm that you own or have the right to use everything you send us, including text, images, logos and documents, and that it is lawful. You are responsible for what your website says, and for your own legal obligations to your own customers. That includes your site’s privacy notice and cookie notice.
9. Who owns what
Your content, your brand assets and your data are yours at all times. That never changes.
When you have paid in full and we have completed handover, ownership of your website’s custom code passes to you. WordPress itself, along with any themes and plugins, stays under its own license, which is normal for every WordPress site.
10. Limits on what we owe you
We will perform the service professionally and to accepted industry standards. Beyond what is written in your signed agreement we make no other warranties, and the service is otherwise provided as is.
If something goes wrong, our total liability is capped at the fees you actually paid us in the three months before the claim. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, which includes lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill and lost opportunity. That limit does not apply to willful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Law and disputes
These terms and your agreement with us are governed by the laws of the State of Gujarat, India.
If we disagree, we both try to sort it out by talking, in good faith, for 30 days. If that does not work, the dispute goes to binding arbitration before a single arbitrator under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Brooklyn, New York. Either of us can still go to court for an injunction to stop urgent harm.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The date at the top tells you when it last changed. Changing this page does not change a signed agreement. That only changes in writing, signed by both of us.
